
Lucy Frederick is a comedian and writer as well as an accomplished character actor. Well known at the Edinburgh Fringe for her ‘eye wateringly honest’ (The Scotsman) shows about the human condition, Lucy received high praise for her 2022 show ‘Lucy Frederick’s Big Fat Wedding’.
In 2022, Lucy starred as Bab Snatchett in ‘A Christmas Carole’ written by Myra DuBois for TuckShop & Trafalgar Theatre Productions at Southend Palace Theatre. The following year she made her pantomime debut as Fleshcreep in the Theatre Royal Stratford East’s production of Jack & The Beanstalk for which she was nominated for Best Newcomer at the UK Pantomime Awards. In 2024 she played Nelly The Nurse in Sleeping Beauty at Oxford Playhouse.
Lucy also performs with Myra DuBois as her sister Rose Lavender, appearing in various live shows including the London run of Be Well and the upcoming 2025 UK tour of Cosmic Empath.
She can be seen in CBBC’s Odd Squad in 2025 as Tammy Triangle.
She has also appeared in commercial campaigns for Procell, Currys and Victorian Plumbing.
As an actor, Lucy won a scholarship to train at the prestigious East 15 Acting School, and her writing has been performed in a number of off West End theatres. She has also been published on the Funny Women website, in Aquila children’s magazine, The Metro and The Guardian.
