Katie is an actor, singer and theatre-maker who can currently be seen playing the infamous showgirl, socialite and speakeasy entrepreneur Belle Livingstone in The Lost Estate’s production of 58th Street.
Trained at Italia Conti (BA HONS ACTING), Katie has had a varied and successful 20 year professional career, including roles in The West End, Open Air Oxford Shakespeare seasons and national tours as well as directing and producing new writing for Off West End and being in demand as a voiceover artist. Katie is also a professional singer, having recently headlined at Dreamland for the Turner Contemporary.
She is the Founder and Artistic Director of Bindlestick Theatre and has toured shows in Kent and London, including ‘Shakespeare’s Royal Company’, which she co-wrote and produced (Paines Plough // Arts Depot).
She has worked with several prolific companies over the last 9 years and has been an associate artist for Looping The Loop’s We are Nearly Normal Theatre Company and Screaming Alley Cabaret.
Katie recently became the recipient of an Arts Council DYCP grant and is currently working on 2 new projects; ‘Broken Record’ the play and solo musical comedy show ‘You’re Not in the West End Now!’.
